- nunavutlegislation.ca · checked territorial: Constituency name and number (order in Schedule Part 1), Nunavut Elections Act, official consolidation current to 22 Sep 2025 (C.S.Nu., c. N-60), s. 31; French, Inuktitut and Inuinnaqtun names from the same Schedule. For: Aggu (name, type and address code)
- nunavutlegislation.ca · checked territorial: Boundary digitized from the official vector map "Nunavut Constituencies" (S.Nu. 2024, c. 11, Schedule Part 2, p. 3; the same maps are appended to the Elections Act consolidation). The Act makes the Chief Electoral Officer's "Official Digital Version of Nunavut's Constituencies Maps 2024" authoritative; no GIS file is published. Georeferenced in Canada Lambert Conformal Conic on the 25 community dots against CGNDB coordinates (https://geogratis.gc.ca/services/geoname/en/geonames): RMS error 2.0 km, max 6.6 km, map scale about 1:15.5 million. Clipped to the Statistics Canada 2021 outline of Nunavut; slivers between the map and that outline go to the nearest constituency. In Iqaluit, Arviat, Rankin Inlet and Igloolik, which the Act splits between constituencies, the split follows the town inset on the constituency's own page of the same Act, georeferenced on OpenStreetMap building centres (median distance from the inset's lots to buildings 7.5 m in Iqaluit, 11 m in Rankin Inlet, 12 m in Arviat, 17 m in Igloolik; see data/raw/nu-all/digitized/*.fit.txt); each side is widened by 30 m so points near a dividing line list both MLAs.
