Marshal of Lower Silesia
- Polish: Marszałek Województwa Dolnośląskiego
Executive Board of Lower Silesia · Lower Silesian Voivodeship
How it's filled
- In plain words
- Elected by the Sejmik of Lower Silesia
- Exact method
- Elected by the voivodeship sejmik by an absolute majority of its statutory membership, in a secret ballot, within 3 months of the announcement of the election results; chairs the 5-member executive board (Act of 5 June 1998 on voivodeship self-government, Art. 31-32). Not directly elected; the law does not require the marshal to be a councillor.
