First round announced by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) on 2026-06-25 as a preliminary calendar; the convocation decree is expected 2027-01-22. A run-off is planned for 2027-08-22 if no candidate wins an absolute majority. The incumbent cannot run again (Constitution art. 187).
