Presidential election first round: held within the last 60 days and not later than 30 days before the end of the five-year term (Art. 56(7)); Petr Pavel took office 9 March 2023 so the term ends 9 March 2028, giving a window of 9 January to 8 February 2028. Runoff 14 days after the first round if no candidate has an absolute majority (Art. 56(2)). Exact dates set by the President.
