Fixed by the Election Act (s. 129): the first Monday of October of the fourth calendar year after the 2026 general election. The Lieutenant Governor can still dissolve the National Assembly earlier, which is more likely with a minority government; the date can also move if it would overlap a federal or municipal general election (s. 129.1).
