Élections Québec results, updated 2026-10-08: 178 of 178 polls, 54,306 electors on the list, 37,150 ballots cast (36,562 valid, 588 rejected), turnout 68.41%. The Parti québécois applied to the Court of Québec for a judicial recount on 7 October 2026 (Liberal Affine Lwalalika led PQ Stephan Fogaing by 10 votes). No candidate is declared elected until the recount is completed (Election Act ss. 377, 382-383).
