The House elected on 26 Nov 2024 (writs dated 27 Oct 2024) can continue at most five years from the 40th day after the writs, to 6 Dec 2029 (House of Assembly Act, s. 8(1)), and election day is a Tuesday 30 to 46 days after the writ (Elections Act, s. 29): a writ dated 6 Dec 2029 gives 15 Jan 2030 at the latest. The Premier can ask the Lieutenant Governor to dissolve the House and call an election at any time before then. All 56 seats.
