What it's for

The Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court is the superior court of Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Its High Court of Justice sits in each of them; its Court of Appeal, based in Castries, travels to each to hear appeals from the High Court and magistrates' courts. Final appeals go to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, or to the Caribbean Court of Justice for Dominica and Saint Lucia.
