- Presidential election petitions and final appeals
The Supreme Court has exclusive original jurisdiction over disputes about the election of the President, appellate jurisdiction over the Court of Appeal and any other court the law prescribes, and gives advisory opinions at the request of the national government, any State organ or a county government (Constitution art 163).
