What it can't do
Since April 2026 four Undang have contested Tuanku Muhriz's position and on 5 June 2026 proclaimed Tunku Nadzaruddin. The state executive council recognised that proclamation on 15 September 2026, but the Attorney General's Chambers said it had no authority to decide validity. Tuanku Muhriz continues to act (he dismissed ten councillors on 20 September), and no court or the Conference of Rulers has recognised his rival. Listed here: the holder who is still acting.
