Welsh Parliament in plain words

What it can't do

Legislates on devolved matters in Wales such as health, education, local government, transport and the environment. The Wales Act 2017 moved Wales to a reserved-powers model: anything not reserved to the UK Parliament (for example defence, immigration, most tax and the constitution) is within its competence.

Government of Wales Act 2006, s.108A and Schedule 7A

Next vote

  • (set by law; may still move) General election · Member of the Senedd
