Establishes and supports the French-language public schools and centres in its territory, admits students and organizes educational services, and decides which services each school provides (Education Act, CQLR c. I-13.3, ss. 207.1, 208-209, 236).
School buildings
Acquires, builds, repairs and maintains school property and decides how it is used (Education Act, CQLR c. I-13.3, s. 266).
Budget allocation
Allocates its revenues among its schools and centres each year, taking into account the recommendations of its resource allocation committee (Education Act, CQLR c. I-13.3, ss. 275-275.1).
