Builds and maintains city streets, provides water and sewer service and collects garbage under its city Act.

  • Taxes and fees

Levies real property tax, business tax and fees under its city Act.

  • Parks and recreation

Provides parks, trails and recreation facilities.

  • Land use planning

Prepares the municipal plan and development regulations and issues development permits (Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000).
